It should be easy to have a cabin on Vierli. Here you will find some practical information that you as a cabin owner will benefit from knowing.
We also recommend cabin owners to register Rauland Hyttevelforening which provides a lot of useful and relevant information.

Plowing on Vierli
Plowing and summer maintenance of roads is carried out by Rauland Skisenter. Browsing can be ordered via the Hyttetjenester app/website.
Hyttetjenester is a system developed by Netsense Software Services AS that simplifies the administration of plowing services for plowing companies. All cabins are registered in the system and connected to the cabin owners. For questions about users and or logging in, please contact Håvard at email, hb@raulandskisenter.no

Parking
All parking must take place on own property. If you have to park somewhere else overnight, for example in our car parks at Vierli this must be clarified with Rauland Skisenter. The reason for this is that parked cars will stand in the way of plowing and other operations. The same applies to trailers.
Forest and other common areas
It is not permitted to cut down trees outside your own plot without permission from Vierli Property. It is often possible to cut wood, contact Håvard Bjørke if you want to clarify any cutting outside your own plot.
Gje Låm
Gje Låm is the trail fee in Rauland! On Vierli is this a registered obligation on all plots sold after 2018 that applies to all cottages. In some places this is registered directly on your plot, other times it follows from the land registry on the property your plot is separated from and sometimes this just follows from the contracts. It may happen that some sellers have forgotten to disclose this when reselling, but we expect that everyone will be happy to pay this anyway. This is your guarantee that there actually ARE trails to our area. And it will get better! This now costs NOK 1000. It is hardly expensive for great experiences in one of Norway's best trail networks!
Source sorting is the future - also in the cabin!
Source sorting of cottage waste has been introduced at the recycling point at Vierli and in Holtardalen. From can pick up food waste bags for free in one of the grocery stores in Krossen and at Vierli Kafeteria. Remember that bio bags are fresh produce, so you don't need to pick up more rolls than you will use a few months into the future.
container
If a container is full, you must try another! If all are full, you must use another return point, take waste home with you or wait for emptying. Full containers can be reported to Renovest on tel. 35 06 80 00. Waste should never be placed on the outside of a container, even if others have done this before you! There is almost always a vacancy in another slot. Up here, there are birds, foxes, wolves and bears that drag rubbish out. This goes into snow blowers and streams and litters our beautiful nature.
Other waste
Building materials, electrical waste and other non-ordinary household waste must be delivered to waste reception in Åmot or Vinje. This should not be added to the normal return points. Christmas trees must not be left behind. You make this into compost or burn in the fireplace!
camera Surveillance
There are cameras at some of the return points. Unfortunately, it is the case that some fill up with the wrong type of waste, and we must work together to put an end to this.
The future
There are large projects linked to the recycling points. There will be new containers and the return points will be both illuminated and tidy. We encourage everyone to sort correctly. Take part in a charity to keep these places neat and tidy! Look more at renovest.no
