Vierli is 1000 meters above sea level on Rauland in Vinje Municipality. The land area is high in the mountains, with a wonderful and sunny location with Hardangervidda to the west and a short distance to the magical silk valley. 

The area is idyllic and has wonderful hiking areas as far as the eye can see, summer and winter.

Rauland is snow-sure, offers 12 ski lifts spread over 3 ski resorts, daily groomed cross-country ski trails, restaurants, a well-developed shopping centre, après-ski and events throughout the year.
