Hero Race 43 km: 
Timed trail race. A beautiful trail in mountainous areas and forest terrain. Start near the center of Rauland and finish at Raulandshuset in the center.

Half Hero 26 km: 
Timed race, one women's class and one men's class. Runs large parts of the main route of 43 km.

The fitness hero 26 km:
Fitness race without timing, like the half-hero 26 km. 

Alternative route in case of bad weather:
If the weather is not on our side, strong winds/heavy rainfall, we will choose another route that is not as exposed to the weather for the distances above.

The family hero 12 km: 
Race for everyone, easy route, no timing. Start at Rauland Høgfjellshotell, enters the same route as the 42 km trail. Finish at Raulandshuset.

Youth Hero 13 km: 
Great trail, mass start for 13, 14 and 15 year olds with timing. Start near Rauland center, goes in parts of the main route, goes through both forest terrain and mountainous areas. The trail turns off from the main route at Kroktjønn after about. 5 km. Some uphills for the first 5 km. Then the trail flattens out relatively well with some downhills and flat sections towards the finish.

The child hero:

Cross-country skiing with various lengths and difficulty levels depending on skiing skills 0 -13 years

The hero 9-12 years

Girls/boys 9 and 10 years old – 2,2 km / 11 – 12 years old 3,4 km with timing, start 400 m from Spar/Brårmojordet, one lap in parts of the lighted course, finish at Raulandshuset

Style all distances: Classic, skating is not allowed, checkpoints on the trails.

NB! It is not allowed to bring dogs to our event.

Age requirements/classes

• The Hero Race 43 km Classes: Women/Men, 16-17, 18-19, 20 -24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-85, 85+

• Half-Hero 26 km: From 16 years old. One women's class and one men's class.

• TrimHelten 26 km: Open to everyone from 13 years of age, no class division.

• The family hero 12 km: No age limit, no class division. 

• Youth Hero 13 km: Girls/boys class 13,14,15 years old. 

• The child hero: From and including 2 years up to and including 12 years. 

• The Hero 9-12: 9, 10, 11 and 12 years girls/boys
  

Initial fee/license requirements

NB! Different registration fees depending on the time of registration for HelteRennet 43 km and HalvHelten 26 km.

Participants who do not have a season license and are over 13 years old must purchase a one-time license in addition to the registration fee. This is an insurance requirement that is imposed by the ski association on you as participants. 

Hero Race 43 km:

Registration NOK 650,-

Online registration until 10.00:XNUMX AM subject to available starting numbers.

Plus possible one-time license NOK 300/100 depending on age, participants from 16 years up to and including 25 years pay NOK 100,- in addition to the registration fee. Participants from 26 years and above pay NOK 300,- in addition to the registration fee. 

Half Hero 26 km: 

Registration NOK 400,-

Online registration until 11.00:XNUMX AM, subject to available starting numbers.

Plus possible one-time license NOK 300/60 depending on age, participants from 16 years up to and including 25 years pay NOK 60,- in addition to the registration fee. Participants from 26 years and above pay NOK 300,- in addition to the registration fee. 

TrimHero 26 km: NOK 350,- plus possible one-time license NOK 100,- After turning 13. Online registration until the start at 10.00

The Family Hero 12 km: NOK 200 per person who turns 16 in the calendar year. Free for children and young people under 16 years of age during the calendar year. Single license NOK 100,- after the age of 13.

The Youth Hero 13 km: 100,- registration fee, possibly one-time license NOK 100,- if you do not have a season license. Online registration until 10.15

The child hero: 0 -12 years without timing, free registration fee. Registration until start 12.30

The hero 9-12 years: 9,10, 11-12 years with timekeeping, free registration fee. Registration until 11.15:XNUMX.

One-time license in general: If you have forgotten to pay for a one-time license, you can do so by Flip to No. 770064. NB! The name of the participant and which event must be written in the message field.

Conditions

There is no refund of the entry fee or one-time license in the event of illness or injury. There is also no refund of the entry fee or one-time license if you choose not to participate or withdraw from the race. 

If HelteRennet is cancelled before the race day, 50% of the entry fee will be refunded. If cancelled on the day of the race, no refund will be made.

Parking

Parking for a fee of NOK 50: See arena map, parking marked with P. If these parking lots become full, we will have to use parking lots further away from the city center. It must then be expected to be about 15 minutes walk from parking to the secretariat. We encourage carpooling where possible.

We encourage everyone who will participate in HelteRennet 43 km and HalvHelten 26 km to pick up their start numbers/tags on Friday or well before the start on Saturday.

Rauland city center, the secretariat in Raulandshallen: Friday 15.30:20.30 PM – XNUMX:XNUMX PM

Saturday at 08.00:XNUMX AM – plenty of time before the start of the chosen distance. 

NB! All start numbers must be placed on the front, chest or thigh. This is so that trail guards and control posts can register your start number.

NB! Participants are responsible for marking their own bags/sacks with labels available from the secretariat. 

Lockdown times

Athletes in the HelteRennet 43 km who have not passed drinking station 4, the station before Rauland Høgfjellshotell, before 15.30:XNUMX PM will be removed from the event for safety reasons and transported to the finish area by bus.

Lubrication tips/Staff service

Lubrication tips will be posted on our website on Friday afternoon. Lubrication tips and purchasing lubrication will also be possible both Friday and Saturday at Rauland Fjellsport

We will have poles available in the starting area in Rauland city center and at some of the drink stations in case of accidents and broken poles.

Checking rod length

In accordance with the ski association's regulations related to pole length, in order to maintain diagonal walking as a classic technique in the future, random tests will be conducted on participants' pole length in our distances. 

Shortened version of the NSF's rule: In races with classic technique, the length of the poles can be a maximum of 83% of the runner's body height with ski boots.

Food/service

• Heroes Race 43 km: Food/drink stations after approx. 5 – 10 – 18 – 29 – 38 km and at the finish line.

• Half-Helten/Trim-Helten 26 km: Food/drink station after approx. 5 – 10 – 22 and at the finish line

• The Family Hero 12 km: Food/drink station after approx. 9 km and at the finish line

• Youth Hero 13 km: Food/drink station after approximately 5 – 10 km and at the finish line.

• The child hero: Food/drink station at the finish line.

There will be food/drink sales in Raulandshallen from 10.00:16.30 AM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM on Saturday. 

Safety

Red Cross will be stationed on the trails and at the finish. Doctors and nurses are on standby. First aid equipment at drink and food stations

Wardrobe and toilet

You will find cloakrooms/showers and toilets in Raulandshuset. 

In addition, there will be mobile toilets near the starting area.

We encourage participants to use the toilets at Raulandshuset as much as possible.

Please avoid urinating in nature.
