About the director and screenwriter

Petter Holmsen graduated with a BFA in Film from Long Island University in 2014. He was the first and only film student in the university's history to be awarded the prestigious title of Valedictorian. He started his career as a casting director, while working closely with Harald Zwart as his director's assistant and 2nd unit director.

Petter's feature film debut gathered families to the cinemas with the Easter comedy "Fjols til Fjells" — a last laugh before Covid19 shut down society. He has directed several TV series such as "Next Summer", "Aldri Voksen" and "Oljefondet", before he wrote and directed his own series for Netflix, ̈"Post Mortem: Ingen dør på Skarnes", which was well received by critics and audiences alike.
