Telemarkstunet

Telemarkstunet is a farm with replicas of old houses from Rauland. It was set up as a farm in the 1990s.

Telemarkstunet is open every day, for visits to the yard. In the summer there is a sale in the barn, a bakery in Eldhuset and a café in Gardsjordstoga. There is also a Christmas market in December. See separate information. 

Telemarkstunet has activities during the summer. There is a second-hand shop, a summer café in Gardsjordstoga, exhibitors, crafts in the yard, a nature trail and a play area for children, with a sandbox.

Telemarkstunet is also open the last weekends before Christmas. Then there is a craft sale at Låven, a café in Gardsjordstoga and a bakery in Eldhuset.
In addition, the craft store at Låven is open during the winter holidays and at Easter.

There is free entrance at Telemarkstunet.

About once a month there is a concert in Årestoga, organized by the Folk Music Scene in Rauland. After the concerts there is a tavern with dancing in Gardsjordstoga.

You can also rent premises at Telemarkstunet if you want to have a party, meeting or other event. There is room for approx. 35 people in Gardsjordstoga.

Årestoga
About once a month there is a concert and pub in Årestoga organized by Folkemusikkscena in Rauland.

The barn
The barn is a replica of a traditional barn from West Telemark. Here you will find a craft shop with genuine products from around 120 different artisans. The emphasis is on Norwegian products.

The barn is open every day throughout the summer, during the holidays and a few weekends before Christmas. It is also possible to stay open at other times, by appointment. This applies to the craft sale and guided tours. Telemarkstunet.

Gardsjordstoga

Gardsjordstoga is a copy of a house in Rauland. We have expanded it with a large modern kitchen so that you can use the house as a party room. Gardsjord is divided into two rooms, and has seating for approx. 35 people. In the summer you can visit our summer café.

In addition, we have several reconstructed houses in use on the yard:

  • The sauna
