How to register for a course
Find the course you are interested in, in course list. FPrint out the registration form. Registration is binding.
Don't wait too long to register! The most popular courses fill up quickly. The registration deadline is 2 weeks before the first day of the course. If there are spaces available, we will accept registrations up until the start of the course.
Course fee 2025:
3-day course: 5400
6-day course: 8500
Rafting with round timber (14 days): 17000
Individual courses have a different amount of course fee, see the course catalog for each course.
When do the courses start and when do they end?
There is a joint meeting at 15.15 The first day of the course with general information for everyone. Then there is teaching with a teacher from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The remaining days there is teaching from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and you can work in the workshop until 10:00 p.m. The course ends at 12:00 p.m. on the last day. This applies to both those who are going on a short course and those who are going on a long course.
Short courses start on Thursday and last until Sunday (4-day course).
Long courses last from Monday to Sunday (6-day course).
The 4-day course has 21 hours of teaching and the 6-day course has 40 hours of teaching.
What does the course fee cover?
The course fee covers the course and workshop. On some courses you have to reckon with material costs. Information on material costs can be found on the course page for the relevant course.

Unsubscribe
Registration is binding. If you are unable to attend the course you have registered for, it is important that you send a written cancellation to post@raulandsakademiet.no as soon as you know that you cannot attend.
You pay a deposit of NOK 950 when registering for the course. The cancellation period is 14 days with a refund of the deposit. After this, the deposit will not be refunded in the event of cancellation.
If you cancel your course 30 days or less before the start of the course, the entire course fee, and any booked accommodation with full board or packed lunches, must be paid. This applies for any reason, including illness.
If Raulandsakademiet If you have to cancel a course, this does not apply.
General information
- Dogs are not allowed during the course weeks.
- Any food allergies must be documented.
- Please let us know in advance if you are vegan/vegetarian etc.
- Special prices for accommodation and packed lunches during courses.
10% discount on the course fee?
Register for courses before March 1st and get a 10% discount! Also applies to registrations before June 1st for fall courses.

Who can register for the course?
The course is open to anyone who wants to, from 14 years of age and up.
Gift cards
If you would like to order a gift card, please contact us by email: post@raulandsakademiet.noWe need the name of the lucky person, where the gift card should be sent and who will pay.
Accommodation and food
You can order accommodation and food at Raulandsakademiet. It costs NOK 1595 per day for course participants (course package). This includes full board, breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee/meal and dinner.
Raulandsakademiet is open for accommodation all year round and is a member of Norske Vandrerhjem. There are 48 rooms divided into single rooms, single rooms with a sofa bed, twin rooms and some family rooms - all with shower and toilet.
If you live at home or in the cabin during the course, you can order a meal package:
3 days:

Leisure activities
There are classes until 16. Afterwards you can work in the workshop or use the time for other leisure activities; yoga, mountain hiking, swimming in Totak, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding or you can visit one of the art exhibitions in the area (summer courses only).
