Laws for the Rauland history team

  1. Rauland Historielag is a local history team. Membership is open to all.
  2. The purpose of the team is:
    1. To work to ensure that everything of historical interest in the village is taken care of and protected.
    2. To arouse, increase and spread interest in and knowledge of the history of Rauland.
  3. The work tasks of the team can be;
    1. Organize and rent local history work, meetings, courses, excursions, registrations, collection of oral tradition and other things of historical interest.
    2. Work to ensure that historical writings with local historical content are published.
    3. Work for the protection of cultural heritage of all sales in the village
    4. Collaborate with the school and other teams, eg Telemark History Team and history teams in other municipalities.
  4. The annual meeting is the highest governing body for the team. It should take place before the end of March. The meeting must be announced at least one week in advance in the local press.
    The meeting shall deal with these matters: annual report, accounts, annual allowance, election of chairman and board members, auditor and other trustees. Matters to be discussed at the annual meeting must have been submitted to the board in writing at least one week before the meeting
  5. The team shall have a board of five (5) members: chairman, deputy chairman, secretary, treasurer and one (1) board member, and three (3) deputies. The board members are elected for two (2) years at a time, so that two (2) are up for election one year and three (3) the following year. Deputies also have a term of office of two (2) years. They are alternately one (1) and two (2) persons. The electoral committee of three (3) people has a term of office of two (2) years, and alternately one (1) and two (2) people are up for election. Auditors, two (2) persons term of office two (2) years, one "1) is elected every year The board is adopted when at least three (3) members are present and it is convened in the usual way
  6. Dissolution of the team can only be decided at an annual meeting following a unanimous decision. The team you own can be transferred to other teams in the village. The archive of the team must go into the local archive.
  7. Submissions in accordance with the laws must have reached the board at least three (3) weeks before the annual meeting. Legislation can only be done at an ordinary annual meeting, and it requires a two-thirds (2/3) majority of the members present.
  8. The board is obliged to keep a meeting book.
