Rauland Skisenter AS is one of Telemark's largest tourism companies and we are among the larger facilities in Norway. With us we provide great skiing experiences for the whole family in a snow-sure mountain area. Rauland is located in Vinje Municipality, which has long traditions with travel and tourism.
The center of Rauland is well developed with shops and restaurants. Our business is run on Vierli, Tiur and in Holtardalen. Our staff are our most important asset, and in high season we have almost 100 employees of all ages and from many countries. Ski leader
We are looking for a new, important employee to join our team in a 100% permanent position. If you want to work with skis, snow and people, then Rauland is the place for you. Skisenter the place for you!
The ski department manager has overall responsibility for our three ski rentals, the equipment park, and the people who meet the guests.
You work in a team with the other managers, and you take part in our management group and the development of the ski resort. The employees are a nice bunch, where laughter is common and where we help each other to solve big and small problems.
Our year is divided into seasons so that the workload will vary throughout the year, but you must be able to work some weekends and holidays. The customer is in focus, and enhancing the customer experience with both more modern and seamless solutions and motivating our team to take good care of our guests is important to us.

You love mountains, snow and skiing and you can, or are very keen to, learn everything about the technical aspects of skiing, shoes, soles and socks.

Tasks
- Participation in the company's management team
- Follow-up, maintenance of rental system and ski equipment
- Manage and coordinate seasonal employees
- Customer service and cashier responsibility
- Miscellaneous operational work
Competence
- Commitment to experiences on skis and snow
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Can acquire knowledge about digital systems
- Understanding of economics
- You have a class B driver's license, access to a car and class S. If you do not have class S, we can organize courses to get this driver's license.
- You are responsible and solution-oriented
- Previous experience from the industry, other similar service jobs and good references are a big plus but not essential.
Other skills can also be very exciting and important, and we can design the position a little bit in relation to who you are.
