Visit the sculpture Vidsyn

On Vierli you will find one of the most atmospheric art experiences in the mountains: the sculpture VidsynHere, art, nature and views meet in a way that gives you a little break from everyday life – and a big perspective.

Vidsyn is more than just a sculpture – it is a viewpoint and an experience in itself. Set in the open mountain landscape of Vierli, the installation invites you to sit down, breathe out and take in the vast surroundings. From here you look out over Rauland's magnificent mountain scenery.

The tour starts at Vierli Kafeteria at the underpass under the county road. Follow the marked hiking trail to the top of Vierlinuten (1100 m above sea level). Here you will find the sculpture Vidsyn. The trail is partly paved with gravel and turns into a dry trail. There are some marshy areas along the way with boulders. The trail is well marked and can be extended by walking the Silkedalen loop trail (4 km) or to Oksatjønn.
