The Holtar lift and the ski lift are open every weekend (Sat-Sun) until Friday 20.12. Then we open up more lifts. 
Fjellrupa (F), Hotellthe elevator (G), the T-hook (B) and Vierli Children's lift (L) is open Saturday + Sunday and all days during holidays (Christmas/New Year, week 7-9 and Easter). Remaining lifts on Tiur/ Holtardalen open every day.
The operational information will apply throughout the season.

Night Ski
Starts up as soon as we have enough snow Hotellthe ground. Experience wise in January.
Every Tuesday and Friday. More days in holidays.
The last evening run of the season is 04.04.

Regular season: week 1-6 and 10-14
High season : All Saturdays throughout the season, 20 Dec to 1 Jan, week 7-8-9 and Easter.

  • Order online

    Lift tickets, ski hire and ski school can be booked online.

  • Children 0-6 years

    Children aged 0-6 ride for free with the purchase of an adult card. All children must have a lift card and keycard.

  • Cashless tills

    As part of environment and safety, Rauland has Skisenter introduced cashless tills. The payment points are clearly marked.

Alpine rules

It is important to familiarize yourself with the alpine rules before heading out on the slopes. If you have children with you, remember to review the rules with them too.

Use your head and wear a helmet, show consideration for other skiers and snowboarders and follow the alpine rules:

  1. Responsibility for avoiding damage

You must behave in such a way that you do not harm yourself or others. You must at all times have the necessary control over the ski/snowboard equipment and you are responsible for preventing the equipment from causing damage to people or other material.

  1. Adjust your speed according to the conditions

You must drive in a controlled manner and adjust your speed and driving style according to your skills, terrain, road conditions and traffic.

  1. Obligation to give way

If you come from behind, you are responsible for driving in such a way that you do not expose others to a collision. .

  1. Overtaking/overtaking

You can drive past another skier or snowboarder provided that he/she is given sufficient space for both controlled and uncontrolled movements. It is forbidden to drive straight downhill, except for organized training.

  1. Starting, driving inside or turning upwards on the descent

If you drive into or turn uphill, you must ensure that this happens without danger to yourself or others. The same applies to driving or stopping.

  1. Stop on the descent

Unless absolutely necessary, avoid stopping on the descent in narrow places or places with limited visibility. After falling in such a place, you must move away as quickly as possible. .

  1. On foot in the descent

If you are on foot, you must only use the outer edges of the ground.

  1. Respect signs and markings

Follow signs, markings and instructions..

  1. Help in case of accidents

In the event of injuries, every skier or snowboarder has a duty to help. .

  1. Identification

In the event of injuries and accidents, witnesses and contributors are obliged to provide their personal details.

It is forbidden to stay in the alpine resort outside opening hours. This can cause danger to life as construction work with snow production and preparation is in progress.

Alpine skiing is associated with a certain amount of danger. Drugs and skiing do not go together. Violation of the board rules may result in expulsion from the facility

SNOWBOARD SAFETY
  1. Stop at the edge of the hill. Do not sit or lie around on the descent.
  2. The use of a safety belt is mandatory and the safety belt must be attached to the front leg.
  3. The board must be carried with the safety strap attached to the leg.
  4. Use a helmet and wrist protectors to reduce the risk of injury.
  5. Look around and check that it is clear before changing direction.
  6. The rear foot must be free from the binding when you ski tow or chair lift.
  7. When you loosen the lashing strap, place the board with the binding side down in the snow.

Please note that the "10 Alpine Skiing Rules" also apply to snowboarding.
