Great development
A lot is happening in Rauland. There has been a formidable development in the area and Rauland appears today as one of the most densely populated cottage areas in Telemark. The pace of development is still high and the number of activities is increasing. The challenges are therefore constantly to find the difficult balance between development and conservation. New development plans, safer ski slopes, securing "sluices" out into the open areas, renovation services, electricity prices and cabin owners' rights are just a few key words in this context.

Our tasks
Rauland cabin welfare association's main task is to safeguard the interests of its members. We do this best by keeping a close eye on the key players in the area. Good communication with agencies such as Vinje municipality, Rauland Kraftforsyningslag, Rauland Turist, landowners and developers in Rauland is therefore a prerequisite for the cabin welfare association to do a good enough job. This collaboration gives us the opportunity to stay updated on what is happening in the area and also the opportunity to help influence development.

Social activities
Another important task for Rauland hyttevelforening is to create well-being for members through social activities. The annual Easter ski run for children has the longest tradition Vierli which is organized immediately after the annual meeting on Good Friday. In addition, have Hyttevelforeningan established tradition is the so-called Autumn meeting, preferably in connection with the school's autumn holidays, where we combine important information with social community and local cultural features.
