Alpine course for cabin dwellers – learn better skiing technique in Rauland

Do you want better flow, safer turns and more skiing fun? On Saturday, February 21, cabin dwellers in Rauland are invited to an alpine course in collaboration with Rauland SkisenterHere, both children and adults have the opportunity to learn good alpine technique from professional instructors – regardless of skill level.

Time: Saturday 21 February at 10.00, 11.45 and 13.45
Place: Rauland Skisenter (please arrive downstairs at ski rental 15 minutes before start)
Info: Everyone must wear ski equipment including a helmet and a valid lift pass.

The course is suitable for both children and adults who can ski/snowboard independently and want to learn basic skiing techniques regardless of skill level.

There will be a total of 5 groups with 6 in each group, i.e. a total of 30 participants. Duration 1,5 hours. There is no opportunity to choose the time.

The groups are divided according to the following skills:

Beginner: No or little previous experience. Want to learn to turn and stop in a controlled manner on green ground.

Easy practice: Have been skiing before. Can turn and stop, wants to learn more technique and move to parallel turns (carve on snowboard). Ready to go over to blue and red ground.

Ongoing: Have a lot of experience skiing/snowboarding, master all colors of slopes but want to refine your technique. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:

The course is free for RHVF members. Non-members pay NOK 200 (paid on Vipps when participation and group assignment are confirmed). No-shows / non-cancelled participation will be charged NOK 200 per person.
