Moose safari on Rauland

Experience the king of the forest up close! In its wild high mountain nature, Rauland has areas where moose often travel, and we know exactly where the chance of meeting one is greatest. During the two-hour trip, you can spot both moose, roe deer, hare, deer and beaver, and it is not at all unusual to come across several moose during an excursion.   Information in English - see below 

Moose safari 2023

• Every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday this summer until 27 August.
• Departure at 20:00 from Rauland Høgfjellshotell
• Duration 1,5 – 2 hours
• Booking at the reception by 16.00 on the same day.

• Adults DKK 500
• Children up to 14 years NOK. 250,-

Scenic Moose Safari through the forests of Rauland

Experience the king of the forest up close! Rauland, with its wild high mountain nature, has areas where the moose often roam, and we know exactly where the chances are highest to encounter one. During the two-hour-long tour, you may catch sight of moose, roe deer, hare, deer, and beavers. It's not uncommon to encounter several moose during an outing.

Elk Safari 2023

• Every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday this summer until August 27th.
• Departure at 8:00 PM from Rauland Høgfjellshotell
• Duration: 1.5 – 2 hours
• Booking in the reception until 4:00 PM on the same day.

Price:

• Adults: NOK 500
• Children up to 14 years old: NOK 250
