Visit Rauland with partners respects privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act (GDPR). The privacy policy explains what kind of data we process, how we collect it and what rights you have.  The declaration applies to the use of our websites, information you leave there, information you leave via our online booking, communication via telephone, e-mail, social media and the like.

From time to time, without notice, we may update or change this privacy policy to take account of new or different privacy practices. Your continued use of our products, applications, services and websites subject to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

Online Booking

When you book a stay with one of the accommodation companies, you provide the following information that we are required to provide in accordance with the Accounting Act:

-        Person and contact information (name, address, telephone number, e-mail and nationality).

-        Purchase data based on the order

4.     Newsletters

 When you sign up for our newsletter, you accept that we send you weekly newsletters with good offers and information from our companies.
Your e-mail will not be shared with companies other than Rauland Turist AS.

5.     E-mail and telephone

Employees and employees of Rauland Turist and partners use e-mail and telephone in general dialogue with internal and external contacts and customers.

The individual is responsible for deleting messages that are no longer relevant to keep.

Sensitive information should not be sent via e-mail as normal e-mail is not encrypted.

6.     How we store your information

Rauland Turist and partners process basically your personal information and purchase data as long as the customer relationship is active, we have a contractual obligation and possibly statutory obligations such as bookkeeping, or as long as you do not object to this processing.  Data that we no longer see a purposeful need to store will be deleted or anonymised.

7.     Your rights

You have a right to access all data that we have stored about you, as well as to be able to change data that has been stored. You have the right to see, change or withdraw your consent to storage.

Please note that data that is legally required to be stored (e.g. data relevant for bookkeeping) will not be able to be deleted. However, the data will not be used for anything other than statutory storage.
