Rauland Høgfjellshotell
Rauland Høgfjellshotell offers an Easter atmosphere on the terrace, a bar in the lobby, a fireplace and a great view of Raulandsfjell.
- On Friday and Saturday we offer a DJ in the lobby bar.
- Friday, April 3rd will also be party atmosphere in Skistoga with DJ Jokko
- On Friday, April 3rd, we will repeat the success with music quiz in Skistoga with Oskar Fagelund. Free admission!
In addition, the hotel can tempt you with wellness department with pool and sauna that is open to everyone and open every day from 07 - 21.
Entrance to the pool and sauna is free for overnight guests, for others it costs 200,- per adult (140,- per child).
Dog sledding with Telemark Husky Tour
Try dog sledding in snowy landscapes with experienced dog sledders! Telemark Husky Tour offers round trips over several days during Easter. There is room for 4 people on each trip (about 3 km) which will take place on Vierli 11 a.m.-14 p.m.:

Heishuset in the hotel grounds at Rauland Høgfjellshotell has après ski on Saturdays! There is also après ski in The pavilion in Holtardalen, with an alpine atmosphere in the middle of the hill.

The ski bus in Rauland
You don't have to depend on a car in Rauland. The ski bus (free for overnight guests) runs daily between the center and the ski resorts on Rauland.
Alpine skiing
Rauland Skisenter consists of three large ski areas: Tiur, Holtardalen og Vierli. Here you will find a total of 12 lifts and a variety of different ones pistes and descents for the whole family, regardless of level.
Cross-country skiing
Start your cross-country skiing trip at Vierli, where you have access to our entire large trail network. Here you will also find Vierli Kafeteria and children's area with its own children's slope, a variety of activities
and ski rental.
Saunas on Vierli
How about a relaxing start to the day or a wonderful break after the ski trip? Vierli has two saunas for rent at Uvatn. Here you can easily book an appointment via an app on your phone.

Cross-country skiing in Silkedalen and Rauland
Rauland offers a wonderful and varied ski terrain with snow on the slopes until well past Easter.
The trail network consists of over 150 kilometers of well-prepared trails in varied terrain - briefly summarized:
- 60 km skating track and one classic track
- 90 km two double classic tracks
- 70 km of high mountain trails
- 80 km of forest trails
- 6 km t/r floodlit cross-country skiing arena with artificial snow (lights on until 22.00 p.m.)
- 8 km illuminated trail in the centre
