This year we are planning a different Nesetdagane! Everything will take place in the yard and inside the barn or barn.
In the morning, there will be a mini-course in sourdough baking with Bodil Nordjore, printing on leather hides, and an introduction to other exciting craft traditions - more information about the activities will follow.
Turbo and state-owned restaurants will also serve homemade pizza!
Slaughter porridge evening with sogur and games
Friday, August 1st at 19.00:XNUMX PM
Knut Buen plays and narrates and Bodil Nordjore cooks porridge under the table.
An old custom in mountain villages was to cook Slåttegraut in late summer, as a festive celebration of the harvest on farms and farmsteads. Such food-loving gatherings were often accompanied by entertainment with stories and games.
We will be taking up this local custom at Neset this summer evening. Welcome to an evening of delicious food and an experience of mountain Norwegian tradition, in words and music.
If the weather permits, sit in the yard, otherwise sit inside the barn. ![]()

Concert and sing-along with Jon Solberg (Ni Liv) and Anne Gravir Klykken
Saturday 2 August at 17.00-20.00
On Saturday afternoon there will be a concert with Anne Gravir Klykken and Jon Solberg, who will invite you to a sing-along at Neset after the concert! We will print up song booklets, and then you can just let loose :-)
Anne and Jon started their album collaboration in early 2021. Anne then sent Jon a collection of older recordings of various folk music performers in Telemark. Jon took a selection of the songs and themes in the recording material, and these serve as a backdrop for newly written songs and arrangements. The album "A Wish" was released in March 2022. Jon and Anne are passionate about dialects, languages, history and the close connection between people, rural life and nature.
The setting for the concerts and activities is Neset in Raulandsgrend – a privately owned Telemark manor from the 1700th century with 16 old houses, 1 of which is protected (Torvtjønnstoga from 1715).
This unique place is used a few times a year for cultural events, where traditions from Telemark take center stage, both in terms of music, food and storytelling.
Tours of the yard are also arranged.
Jon Solberg is a Norwegian songwriter and musician from Bø in Telemark. He is known as the vocalist and frontman of the band Ni Liv, and as a solo artist. Jon has released three solo albums, eight albums with Ni Liv, had over 15 songs on NRK P1's national playlists and was nominated for the Norwegian Spellemann award with Ni Liv.
Jon is good at seeing the big picture in the small – at writing a clear world that we can identify with. “More than ever, one of the country’s leading songwriters has delivered goods that make your head a little wiser and your heart a little warmer,” as Olav Solvang in Vårt Land put it after the launch of Jon’s first solo album. He contributes vocals, guitar and fiddle!
Anne Gravir Klykken is a singer from Solum with her heart in folk music. In addition to the album with Jon, she has released two solo albums, four releases with the trio Vintermåne and one with the duo Blåsang. Anne has been and is involved in a number of different projects and recordings over the years. Vocals and perk!
