In the middle of Smørøyet for activities in both summer and winter in beautiful Rauland, you will find Neset Gard. Here you are met with real history and contemporary facilities.

The frame is a Telemarkstun from the Middle Ages with 17 old houses, of which 1 is listed (Torvtjønnstoga from 1715). You can find more about the story here.
This unique place is now used for cultural events, where traditions from Telemark will take center stage, both in terms of music, food and storytelling. The aim is that craft traditions will also be presented in the Spel context. At least 4 - 6 intimate concerts must be held, an outdoor summer concert in June with an "out-of-town" artist or group, and The Neset game in August as the big annual event.

The place is also rented out for seminars, course activities, family events, or for other festive occasions. See our popular outdoor scene which is used, among other things, for the Neset game.
With its own tennis court, indoor swimming pool and sauna, everything is arranged for an experience-rich stay. 2 kayaks are on the shed.

We can convey traditional food made by Turbobudeia Bodil.
If you want to fish your own aure, we can offer a boat, net and
guidance - not unusual to see a 2 kg fish in the net 🙂
Grouse hunting is organized and we arrange wild reindeer hunting in the autumn.
Rauland is a year-round destination, but a fantastic hiking terrain in spring, summer and autumn, and great both alpine and touring ski tracks and terrain in winter. Our own "Tehytta" is located at 1000 meters above sea level and is a favorite destination for hikers.
