Nothing beats lazy summer days on a beach under a cloudless sky. After a visit here, it's easy to see why this gem got its name. Fagersand.
Fagersand stretches over more than 50 acres – there is plenty of space for both young and old. Although the landscape has remained unchanged for thousands of years, it has now received a long-awaited boost.
How to get there
Drive down by Austbø hotel and follow the signs. You will then come to a new and improved parking lot. From there it is only a few hundred meters to walk before you are on the beautiful sandy beach.
Parking costs 50 kroner per day, and all proceeds go towards maintaining the area.
