The Kråkeroe stable is located 900 meters above sea level at Møsstrond, in the far north of Seljord municipality. Staulsvollen has a particularly nice location between Lake Veisvik and Kråkeroe-tjønni. Telemark cows, NRF cows, calves and pigs walk on the seat embankment. Here, the cows graze good, juicy mountain grass that produces the best, tasty and nutritious milk.
From the milk we produce butter, cream and cottage cheese. We get leftover product in the form of soup and curd, which are great products to use in pastries. Butter, cream, cottage cheese sell me here on the table. We serve simple stable food: creamed porridge, cured meats, soup waffles, soup soup and more. The rjomegraut here is particularly good with our home-made rjome.
