Open every day from 10:00 - 15:30 (until 14:00 on Christmas Eve).

Rauland Høgfjellshotell
Come in for a cup of coffee with a wonderful view, or enjoy a better dinner in the restaurant Falkeriset:
- Restaurant is open from 19.00 - 20.30 every day (except New Year's) with buffet/a la carte
- On December 29th we have shellfish evening at Rauland Høgfjellshotell with the delicacies of the sea
- Celebrate New Year with 4-course festive dinner, fireworks and night food
Our swimming pool/sauna is open to everyone
Price for non-residents is 200,- for adults and 140,- for children (under 16 years). Open every day from 07.00-21.00

Christmas on Telemarkstunet
Welcome to Christmas at Telemarkstunet with food, market and music:
- December 6th 11 am – 16 pm. Crafts at Låven and Bakery open. In addition, a large Christmas market, with many stalls both outside and on the Telemarkstunet and inside Raulandsakademiet.
Courses, activities, book launches, gingerbread village, porridge in Gardsjordstoga, and maybe Santa will come. - December 7rd 11 am – 16 pm. Crafts at the Barn and Bakery open.
- 13. December 11 am – 4 pm. Crafts at Låven, bakery and Gaardsjordstoga cafe open. Årestoga at 3:30 pm, Christmas concert with Rakkel.
- 14. December 11 am – 16 pm. Crafts at the Barn and Bakery open.
- December 20th and 21st 11 – 16. Crafts at the Barn and Bakery open.
- December 22 – 30. The bakery is open every day from 11 am to 16 pm or as long as the baker has supplies.
Dog sledding in Holtardalen
Experience real dog sledding in Holtardalen! Telemark Husky Tour offers dog sledding during the Christmas holidays, and has round trips for up to 4 people.
Tours run on December 26, 28 and 30 between 11:00 and 14:00. The round trip takes about 10-15 minutes.
December 31:
- Austbø Hotell invites to nice party night
- Rauland Høgfjellshotell has 4-course festive dinner, fireworks and night food
- According to tradition, it is New Year's celebration in Holtardalen for the whole family with mulled wine, elves and fireworks.

Alpine skiing at Rauland Skisenter
Rauland Skisenter consists of three large ski areas: Tiur, Holtardalen og Vierli. Here there are good opportunities for snowboarding and alpine skiing with 12 lifts and varied pistes and descents for the whole family.
Cross-country skiing on Vierli
Vierli is a good starting point for the cross-country trip, in a trail network that stretches over 150 kilometers. Here also lies Vierli children's area with lift, children's activities and ski hire.
Cross-country skiing in Silkedalen and Rauland
At Rauland, you have access to well-groomed cross-country ski trails throughout the season!
- 60 km skating track and one classic track
- 90 km two double classic tracks
- 70 km of high mountain trails
- 80 km of forest trails
- 6 km t/r floodlit cross-country skiing arena with artificial snow (lights on until 22.00 p.m.)
- 8 km illuminated trail in the centre
- A total of 150 kilometers

Tips for the Christmas holidays
Snowmobile safari
Rauland Skisenter offers snowmobile safaris for everyone! We drive on wonderful tracks at the foot of Hardangervidda, and the trips can last from a few hours to a day. PS: You do not need a snowmobile license or driver's license when you drive a snowmobile safari with us.
