Gje Låm: Your efforts lead to better cross-country skiing trails in Rauland

Cross-country skiing in Rauland is more than just a winter activity! It is a true nature experience through spectacular snow-covered plains and a trail network that stretches across 150 kilometres.

To ensure that these trails are kept in top condition, we in Rauland have a voluntary trail contribution called Gje Låm – which means "give clues"It's about providing good trails for everyone who skis and maintaining a trail network that is constantly improving.

Two trail machines with a price tag of almost 10 million kroner run the beautiful cross-country trails at Rauland. We also invest large amounts in the ski trails by chopping, clearing and mowing so that we can keep the quality high and start trail running with less snow.

In addition to supporting the trails, as a contributor you also receive benefits such as: free ski bus in Rauland og 50% discount on single lifts in Rauland Skisenter when you are on cross-country skis.
