End of season at Folkemusikkscena with Lady Hardanger!
Lady Hardanger traveled from the West, fell into the gumbo pot in Louisiana and found beautiful pop songs in Berlin's underground. After a cold February month in Crete, they have completed their fourth album. "Not Fighting Gravity" is a collection of songs written on a roof terrace in moments of sunshine between heavy rain showers.
The band members have a background in various types of folk music, performing arts and pop music. They have learned from people and musicians in the swamps of Louisiana, the Greek mountain home, drum circles in the Caribbean, bars on Oslo's eastern edge and remote valley guides in the west.
