Your voice, your strength!
A safe space where you can meet yourself through sound, voice and movement. At your own pace.
Together we create a safe and open space where you can explore your voice. Through tone, rhythm, breath and movement we open up to listen inwardly and express what lives within you.
This is also a day where something can happen on a deeper level. Sound affects us. It is felt in the body, in the nervous system and in our emotions. When we make sound, and allow ourselves to be met in a safe community, it can open up for inner processes, insight and movement.
You don't have to understand it with your head. You can experience it within yourself.
Community is an important part of this day. Being with others in a space without performance, where everyone can be themselves, creates a sense of security that makes it easier to open up. At your own pace.
You don't need to be able to sing. You don't need to have experience. All you need is a curiosity about yourself.
This day isn't about how it sounds. It's about how it feels.
You will receive simple and concrete tools that you can take with you, but most importantly: an experience of meeting yourself in a new way.
Today, there is also more and more research pointing to how sound and frequencies can positively affect us and support the body's own healing processes. This is something we are curious about, and which we explore further with respect for both what can be explained and what must be experienced.
We who are holding the course are Birgit Hommo from Balanzert Helse and Guro Anna Wyller Odden. We are both studying Sound as Therapy with Audun Myskja, and share a common interest in how sound, body and consciousness are connected.
Birgit works holistically with body, mind and soul, and is passionate about helping people listen inwardly and make choices that provide more quality of life and joy. Guro is a psychologist with a background as a dance artist and is also pursuing further education in coping medicine.
What we both have in common is a strong desire to help more people take care of their own health from the inside out.
We look forward to sharing this day with you.
