We have a brand new sand volleyball court. FagersandThe course is idyllically located at Podden, right next to the kayakomat station, and is open to anyone who wants to play – whether you are a beginner or an experienced player.

You can rent volleyball at Austbø Hotell for only 50 kr.
5 simple rules for beginners:
- Maximum three touches per team
Each team can touch the ball up to three times before it must go over the net. - One player cannot touch the ball twice in a row
The exception is if you block the ball – then you can take the next touch. - No network touch
Do not touch the net with your body or clothing – this gives points to the opposing team. - Serve from behind the line
The serve must be taken behind the back line and must go over the net and into the opponent's court. - Points on each ball
Points are awarded on each ball, regardless of who serves. The first team to 21 wins the set (must win by two points).
